Tiles

SlipDoctors™ Stone Grip

A tile is an artificial piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, glass or metal. The two main categories of tiles are glazed and unglazed. Tiles with glazed finishes can become very slippery especially when wet. These smooth finished tiles have less traction that creates an increased risk of slips and falls.

Stone Grip is the most effective product to improve traction on any stone tile. After 5 minutes your tiles will dramatically improve traction levels in both wet and dry conditions with virtually no appearance change. Stone Grip can be used indoors or outdoors. It will work on any sealed or unsealed tile from the manufacture. Treatment is guaranteed to last for years to come.

Resilient Floors

Resilient flooring is flexible pliant material most commonly sold in tile form. It is important to note that resilient flooring has low slip resistance when wet. Vinyl, VCT, and linoleum are just a few examples of resilient flooring. These floors can often become slippery when wet. Always use wet floor signs in public areas if the floors are wet.

SlipDoctors exclusive Floorgrip coating for Resilient Floors. This easy to apply coating will increase traction for years to come. It leaves behind a high gloss look. This is a water-based sealer with zero VOC's and fumes.

Concrete

SlipDoctors™ Deck O Grip

Concrete floors are a very low-maintenance flooring option. People like them because they are easier to install than wood flooring. Cement is also one of the more affordable flooring options and can easily be covered with another flooring material from hardwood to carpet. As one of the most durable flooring options,concrete is definitely not something anyone wants to fall on. The slick smooth surface is very slippery when wet and especially when the flooring is in a high traffic area the risk of someone slipping on the concrete is very high.

DECK-O-GRIP W/B is a non-yellowing, water-based, blended, polymer-based, high solids, liquid sealer for decorative concrete. The product is clear, transparent and easy to apply. DECK-O-GRIP W/B also offers greatly improved chemical resistance when compared to standard acrylic-only based curing and sealing compounds. The product has been formulated to seal and protect decorative colored concrete by producing a hard, yet flexible, clear film. The compound contains a slip-resistant additive, which produces a slip-resistant surface, for use on traditionally slippery areas.

Bathtubs

Obviously the combination of water and the slick hard surface of the bathtub floors make the bathroom the most at risk place for injuries/deaths from slipping. Please make sure to stay safe and treat your bathtubs to make them less slippery.
